Justin grew up in south east Texas where had anywhere between 10 to 40 horses that he cared for. During summer breaks he would assist in training local horses, as well as, his own year round. Justin graduated high school and joined the U.S. Coast Guard and has been on Active duty for the last 17 plus years. When he got to the Martha’s Vineyard in the summer of ‘22 his family visited Misty Meadows for a pony ride. While there, volunteer opportunities were presented and within 2 weeks, he had his training completed and started helping with pony rides. He is now helping to teach riding classes and working on getting his MA certification.
