Fun Facts: I am a young horse still growing, and my coat keeps changing color as I shed. I love to play silly games with my pony friends, and to be groomed and snuggled by my human friends.

Sumo is a Lusitano gelding - a type of horse whose roots come from the Iberian Peninsula around 800 BC, and was developed through Portuguese breeding programs to produce horses for war and bull-fighting. In some regions Lusitanos are still used for bull-fighting today, but are also very popular with Dressage riders; their compact muscular stature, bravery, and intelligence, makes for a trainable horse suited to collected movements.
