Diego Jurado
Diego Jurado
Horsecare Assistant
Diego is an agricultural engineer from Colombia with a background in agriculture, livestock production, and Western-style horsemanship. Growing up in Colombia, he learned Western horsemanship through his family and later developed his skills working alongside cowboys in South Dakota, gaining experience in ranch work and rodeo.
His interest in horses extends beyond any particular riding discipline. At Misty Meadows, Diego is eager to serve, learn, deepen his understanding of equine nutrition, daily care, horse behavior, communication, and English riding. He values the opportunity to keep learning from horses and the people who care for them while contributing his agricultural background and hands-on experience to the Misty Meadows community.
