I moved to Martha’s Vineyard in May, spending the summer and fall with the MV Land Bank’s trail crew, enjoying the island’s natural beauty and the chance to learn new skills and work outdoors. I first discovered Misty Meadows through their Sunday Mindfulness workshop, where I immediately felt a connection with the horses, staff, and community. The welcoming atmosphere and unique approach to working with horses and people left a lasting impression, and I’m excited to now be a part of it.
Originally from Zimbabwe, I developed a love for horses at age three, surrounded by barn life that sparked a lifelong passion. This led me to pursue an undergraduate degree in business management and environmental studies, and I am currently completing my MBA in Energy and Sustainability at Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire.
When visiting my family’s small farm in Rhode Island, I’m always greeted by our three geldings and never miss a chance for a trail ride. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, playing volleyball, traveling, and relaxing over a good board game.
I look forward to bringing my love for horses, nature, and community to Misty Meadows and contributing to its inspiring mission.
