Janet spent 20 years in television production at WGBH in Boston and National Geographic Television in Los Angeles before changing course to become a lawyer focusing on corporate liability insurance.   She enjoys hiking, biking, kayaking and adventure travel to far-flung places.  Janet was a seasonal Vineyard resident beginning in 1990 and has been here full-time since 2002.  With little to no prior equine experience, through Misty she has discovered how truly remarkable the connections between humans and horses can be.  Now she spends as much time as she can finding peace and joy at the barn and on the trail, learning something new every day from the wondrous staffers, awesome volunteers and our wise and crafty four-legged friends.
